- Taylor Swift has been keeping a lower profile at Chiefs games this season–despite being there to support Travis Kelce.
- Sources say Taylor "wants to be safe and wants her family and friends to be safe."
- Tay will be seen from "time to time" as the season progresses.
Taylor Swift showed up at Sunday night's Chiefs game in a red-on-red-on-red fit (still not over the boots!), her first semi-public appearance at Arrowhead Stadium in a minute. While the Grammy-winner has been supporting Travis Kelce at plenty of games this season, she's definitely been keeping a lower profile—and apparently there's a reason for that!
A source tells the Daily Mail in part that Taylor "doesn't want her whereabouts known every minute of the day. She wants to be safe and she wants her family and friends to be safe." Which, completely understandable.
The insider notes, "That doesn't mean she has asked the NFL and the various networks to stop showing her on TV during any of the Chiefs games," that "it has been a little more of a natural progression for her to be less out there and attracting the attention" and that "for the rest of the season it will be a case-by-case situation depending how he does."
As for when we'll next see Tay, the source adds, "There is always a camera in her direction, it's just not as big a thing this year as in years past. But we will continue to see her from time to time as she knows that everyone knows she is there anyway."
